April 4, 2025 (Thorold, Ont.) - Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation (NPCF) is running an Earth Day 25 in ’25 campaign to support the vision of Nature for All, for Always.
Every year, Earth Day comes along, and most people probably think “I should do something”, but then they have work or school, and life gets busy. We know that not everyone has time to clean up their neighbourhood or plant a tree. However, what people can do is donate (big or small!) towards conservation!
FUN FACT: Did you know that $25 helps plant 2 trees?
NCPF is encouraging individuals, business, and corporations alike to donate in increments of 25 this Earth Day. That means that an individual who cares about the environment could donate $25, small business looking for ways to give back could donate $250, or a corporation who wants to encourage environmental stewardship could donate $2,500! Every donation counts, there’s no such thing as too little or too much.
No matter the size of the donation, it’ll help support NPCF’s vision of more trees, more protected spaces, more access for all, and more education. Donations can be made here.

About Nature for All, for Always:
As we face climate change, more frequent extreme weather events, and ongoing development pressures, protecting green space is more urgent than ever. NPCF launched the Nature for All, for Always campaign to create a healthy, vibrant watershed for future generations. It aims to
Strengthen the watershed’s natural resilience by restoring 600 hectares of habitat and planting one million trees;
Protect 180 hectares of the Niagara Peninsula watershed’s more significant land;
Ensure everyone in our community can enjoy our conservation areas; and
Inspire environmental stewards of all ages.
