Golden Hour is a new signature summer fundraising experience set at Ball’s Falls, one of Niagara’s most treasured and protected landscapes. Designed as an intimate sunset concert in nature, the event unites live music, elevated hospitality, and conservation storytelling to support the protection of the Niagara Peninsula watershed.

Great Lake Swimmers

Great Lake Swimmers are a critically acclaimed Canadian indie-folk band led by singer-songwriter Tony Dekker, known for their atmospheric sound and place-inspired songwriting. Originating in Wainfleet, Ontario, their music reflects the landscapes and rhythms of Southern Ontario.

With strong ties to the Niagara region, the band is known for performing in unique, natural, and historic settings, creating live experiences that feel intimate, immersive, and deeply connected to place.

At Golden Hour, that connection comes full circle. Set against the backdrop of Ball’s Falls, their music becomes part of the landscape itself, echoing the watershed the evening is designed to protect.

What to Expect:

an evening that gives back to the place you’re in.

Set within one of Niagara’s most cherished natural landscapes, this is an intimate, open-air experience shaped by its surroundings. As the sun sets over Ball’s Falls, guests gather for an evening of live music, locally inspired food and drink, and quiet moments of connection to the land and to each other.

The experience unfolds with the landscape itself. You move through the space, take in the surroundings, and settle into a shared atmosphere as the light shifts and the music begins. It’s immersive, unhurried, and deeply rooted in place.

Being here is part of the impact.

Your attendance directly supports the protection of the Niagara Peninsula watershed, helping to preserve natural habitats, safeguard water resources, and care for the landscapes that define this region.

Funds raised contribute to ongoing conservation and stewardship efforts, ensuring these spaces remain healthy, accessible, and protected for generations to come.

This is where experience and impact come together, creating a lasting connection between the moment you’re in and the future you’re helping protect.
