Great Lake Swimmers
Great Lake Swimmers are a critically acclaimed Canadian indie-folk band led by singer-songwriter Tony Dekker, known for their atmospheric sound and place-inspired songwriting. Originating in Wainfleet, Ontario, their music reflects the landscapes and rhythms of Southern Ontario.
With strong ties to the Niagara region, the band is known for performing in unique, natural, and historic settings, creating live experiences that feel intimate, immersive, and deeply connected to place.
At Golden Hour, that connection comes full circle. Set against the backdrop of Ball’s Falls, their music becomes part of the landscape itself, echoing the watershed the evening is designed to protect.

A five-voice ensemble from the Niagara Region, Miniscule brings together layered vocals, poetic songwriting, and a live presence that feels both intimate and powerful. Known for weaving themes of empathy, social responsibility, and human connection into their music, they invite audiences into meaningful conversations through harmony, storytelling, and shared experience.
At Golden Hour, their voices will help set the tone for a night that celebrates community, conservation, and the responsibility we share to maintain the landscapes that sustain us.

DJ Marinko
Based in Niagara, DJ Marinko is a seasoned sound curator and audio consultant with more than two decades of experience creating music experiences for festivals, venues, wineries, and intimate gatherings. Known for his ability to read the room and tailor sound to the setting, he will shape the atmosphere of Golden Hour with curated soundscapes that carry guests from arrival to sunset and into the celebration that follows.

Guests will enjoy live music, locally inspired food and drink, and the opportunity to connect with others who care about protecting the natural spaces that make the Niagara Peninsula unique.
The evening will also include a silent auction and raffle, featuring items such as an Edward Burtynsky print valued at $2,800.

Proceeds from the event will support NPCA’s conservation and stewardship work across the Niagara Peninsula watershed, including efforts to protect natural habitats, support clean and healthy water, and care for conservation lands for future generations.

Parking will be available on site and is included with your ticket, with the entrance located across from 3159 Sixth Avenue, Lincoln, ON.
Shuttle service, provided by Ride for Nature Sponsors E.S. Fox Limited and Berg Equipment, will be available to transport guests from the parking area to the event.

Your ticket includes food and beverages for the evening, with a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available throughout, catered by Niagara’s own Chef Brad Rempel.
Guests will enjoy a tapas and antipasto spread alongside a selection of local wine, beer, and cocktails, and are invited to join us for a special “Golden Hour Toast” at sundown.

Accessible parking is available on site.
Seating will be provided; however, this is an outdoor event and guests should expect to navigate surfaces such as grass and gravel.
