Helping today’s youth become tomorrow’s leaders

Through initial support of the Fort Erie Conservation Women’s Auxiliary, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation is proud to support a bursary program aimed at assisting secondary school students seeking to further their education and their commitment to the environment.

When open, the bursary program invites applications from secondary school students residing in the municipalities within the Niagara Peninsula watershed, which include:

Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharines, Thorold, Welland, Port Colborne, Wainfleet, Pelham, Lincoln, West Lincoln and Grimsby, as well as Hamilton and Haldimand County.

An awards committee made up of NPCF and NPCA board members and staff reviews the applications and makes the selections.

Students must be pursuing post-secondary education in a field relating to: conservation, environment, forestry, natural resources, and/or fish & wildlife.

Students must be Canadian citizens. Proof of enrolment and their social insurance number must be provided prior to the release of funds.

See guidelines for eligibility details.
